It gave you the ability to call your mom “hands free” through your Bluetooth. In addition, it allowed you to listen to music that was stored on you “A2DP” device. Here is a little more information for the techy out there:The “Wireless Interface for Custom Autosound CD Controller Radio” plugs into the CD port of your “Custom Autosound Radio”. It gives you the ability to hands free calling and the ability to listen to music stored on your “A2DP” device. If you have a CD changer even with one Cd slot you can uses it with the adapter plugged in. There is a “CD changer port” on the control box of the “Bluekit”.
The main “control box” has a 1.5’cord that goes to the “Radio and CD port”, a 6.5’ cord to answer button and a 3.5’ cord from the answer button to the microphone. Check out yours today at Vintage Car Radio! “(USA-630, Secretaudio(SST & SRMS), USA-66)”

Also listen to music stored on your A2DP enabled bluetooth device. If you have a CD changer or CD1 single player you can still use it with the adapter plugged in (there is a CD changer port on the control box of the Bluekit).
