This kit fits GM cars ‘64-’71 or GM trucks ‘64-’72 (It will probably fit a wider range than that, but so far that is what has been confirmed.) The kit intercepts the power going into the headlight switch with a relay and then only energizes the relay when the ignition key is powered on. Turning off the key turns off the headlights, running lights, and dash lights.

One thing I despise is needing to cut a factory harness. This kit includes the correct terminals for the stock headlight switch - you just have to pop out two wires from the headlight switch connector, move them to the relays , and install two new wires from the relays to the correct holes. If you ever want or need to remove the relay kit, just move the stock wires back to the headlight switch.

The relays are standard automotive relays rated for 30 amps continuous - more than adequate for any lights you have connected to the stock wiring. Also, because they are standard relays, should you ever have one go bad, you can find a replacement at just about any local auto parts store.
