Years ago, America for the most part sold only American cars. Americans liked only big cars, really big cars. The kind of cars you could take half your city in and still have room for the mayor. They were built like a Sherman and would last for years and years. But as the years wore on and gas prices went higher and higher people started to want something smaller and more economical. That's where the Japanese car makers came in. In Japan you really didn't have as much room as you did in America. So naturally the cars had to be smaller to deal the space problem. The upside to the smaller car was that it got really good gas mileage. American's during the gas crunch jumped on the smaller cars with gusto. When they realized that the Toyota also was dependable as rock, the public got excited. Smaller cars were easier to deal with in rush hour traffic. They also could be quite sporty due to their light weight and nimble performance. The Toyota caught on and hasn't left yet. The Toyota cars were a ball to drive and economical to own but like, most classic cars, had their downfalls and the Toyota was no different. Sure they were fun to drive but you'd reach down to turn the radio on and the hell noise that came out of the crackling speakers was just too much to bare. Your ears were suffering. So what can you do? You move on over to Vintage Car Radio and checkout the top of the line stereos from Ken Harrison radios. Ken Harrison radios are just too cool for their own good. They are built to withstand any abuse you can throw at it and the sound is amazing. So get yourself a Ken Harrison radio today.
