A classic car is about the drive, not about juggling cords and phone mounts. Aurora Design's BTU Smart-3.2 Bluetooth/BLE/USB/AAC Adapter installs inside a radio converted with the FMR-3.2. It adds wireless streaming, hands-free calling and USB music playback, all run from the original knobs, so your dash stays untouched.
BTU Smart-3.2 highlights
- Bluetooth 5.0 certified: it is backward compatible with older phones, pairs up to 8 devices and automatically reconnects to the last 4.
- FMRConnect™ app control: using iOS™ or Android™, you can name the radio, adjust the equalizer in real time, set balance and fader, and manage DAB/DAB+ station lists.
- High-quality audio: native AAC playback over Bluetooth avoids conversion to SBC. The USB port plays AAC, MP3, Ogg Vorbis and lossless FLAC files, mixed freely on one drive.
- USB charging: the port supports standard and proprietary charging modes, and charging continues with the radio off.
- Fully integrated controls: pairing, voice command, play/pause, track skip and call answer all work through the existing radio controls. An RGB status LED is included, and a pushbutton is optional.
- Quiet power supply: its tightly coupled design keeps the adapter from interfering with AM reception on the FMR-3.2.
