Choose Your Buckle

The Buckle Style menu offers two options:

• All Metal Starburst Push Button Buckle

The GM Logo Push Button Buckle carries the GM logo on the release button for a factory-style look. The All Metal Starburst Push Button Buckle has the classic starburst face many GM owners remember, in solid metal construction. Either works well in a Monte Carlo. Owners restoring to factory appearance often go with the GM logo, while others prefer the starburst look.

Installation Tips

These belts are designed to replace the factory belts in a 1978-88 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, so in most cases they mount at the original anchor points. Photograph the old belts before removing them and note how each end is routed. Inspect the anchors for corrosion and clean the threads. The listing does not state that mounting hardware is included, so reuse the original bolts if they are in good condition or replace them with proper seat belt hardware.
