    Custom Autosound's Slidebar Radio provides enthusiasts with a completely authentic looking classic car or truck stereo without sacrificing the latest in technology. Best of all it will fit in your vehicle's dash without any modifications required. The Slidebar Radio provides the best of both worlds, a true working slidebar display and a full-featured digital display in the same stereo. Simply slide the bar in the center of the radio to the right and hide the analog slidebar revealing a full-featured digital display underneath. The slidebar is designed with large OEM style push-buttons to compliment the look of your classic car. Its digital display provides seven backlit color options designed to match the color of your dash instrumentation. When it comes to technology the Slidebar is designed with the best features available including Bluetooth, a USB input for flash drives and a Dock for your iPod. When connected to these devices the radio's digital display will display artist, song, album and allow song navigation through the radio itself. The slidebar is compatible with AD2P which enables bluetooth streaming from your enabled phone or device as well as hands-free mobile calling through the vehicles speakers & built-in microphone. With 300 watts peak the radio provides plenty of power but additionally contains four pre-outs and one subwoofer out. The Slidebar also comes with Aux-in for optional satellite radio as well as our optional compact CD/DVD player.

Without losing the vintage look of a classic car, music from multiple different sources can be heard. The Slidebar Radio provides an easy transition from the retro feel of an antique car to modern listening.

    The radio itself has both AM/FM options with 25 pre-sets. It displays several color choices as well as the song and artist of whoever is playing. Whether you listen during the day or night, the dimmer switch makes LCD display as bright as needed for vision in any circumstance.
     
    Not only does the Slidebar Radio from Vintage Car Radio work as an AM/FM tuner, but it also has the capability to connect with other devices such as an ipod. An option for Bluetooth is also available in addition to a USB port for an Mp3 Flash Drive/WMA Playback.
     
    The Slidebar Radio has a six CD Changer Control with electronic tuning and volume control. For enhanced listening quality, the bass/mid/treble all have a tone control option that can be adjusted for sound range. A front rear fader as well as balance and compensation control are included.
     
    In addition to sound quality and device compatibility, all standard radio features come with the Slidebar Radio. A digital clock, 2 RCA Auxiliary Input Channels, 3 Channel RCA Pre-outs, and a Power Antenna Lead are all part of the deal. With 300 Watts of sound power and a subwoofer line out with level and x-over adjustments, every song has the capacity for maximum power. Regardless of the new technology used by this classic, but modern radio, its look remains classic.      The Slidebar Radio is Custom Autosound’s latest innovation in the quest for a perfect classic car radio.  Just slide the 'slidebar' to the right and the analog AM radio display drops away to reveal a full featured digital display. With the large OEM style push-buttons you get a perfect look in a classic dash. Now a radio that not only looks right and sounds great in your classic vehicle, it gives you a direct connection to today's modern audio.  Although it looks classic it has the latest modern features that include an iPod doc.
     
    Navigation for the iPOD includes artist/song/album/playlist all from the buttons on the radio. A great feature so you can keep the iPod hidden away in your glove box or console. The USB input is still there on the back of the radio and allows you to plug in a USB flash drive for playback of MP3/WMA song files. The alpha numeric LCD display shows the song/artist/album titles during playback of flash drive (thumb drive), iPod files and RDS radio station information.
     
    This LCD display has 7 user selectable color choices so you can match it to your other dash illumination. As an option you can get Bluetooth music streaming from your Bluetooth capable phone or Bluetooth compatible player with the BLUKIT. A2DP music streaming alows you to advance the songs on your phone buy using the track up/down button on the radio. It will also mute the music while to take a hands free phone call through the radio.
     
    With 300 watts peak the radio should have all the power you may need, if you want more there are four pre-outs jacks and a subwoofer out on the back of the radio for optional amplifiers. The back of the radio also has auxiliary audio input for satellite radio or any portable player you may wish to use. If CD's are your thing we have you covered as this radio will control an optional 6 disc changer USA-CD60 or our CD1 compact size CD/DVD mp3 compatible player.

    Important: Both red and yellow must be connected. Do not connect the blue lead to a semi-automatic (knob/switch) factory antenna — that can damage the radio (per Slidebar manual).
