A Lap Belt That Takes Up Its Own Slack

This is a 2-point lap belt with a retractor. That combination suits motorhome cockpit seats well. A fixed lap belt can leave loose webbing hanging on the floor or wedged in the seat swivel. A retractable belt pulls the extra in when you unbuckle, keeping the cockpit tidy and the webbing off the floor where it gets stepped on and dirty.

The plastic side release buckle is lightweight and easy to operate. That is handy when you are buckling and unbuckling many times a day at fuel stops, campgrounds, and sightseeing pull-offs.
