The Upgrade Has Great Features
Look at the USA-630 and you'll see why it's worth the upgrade. A power antenna lead helps bring in your 25 presets (15 FM, 10 AM). When you want something other than the radio, you can play up to 6 CDs through an optional changer, your WMA or MP3 files, or your iPod.
You also get an RDS tuner, a digital EQ, treble and bass controls, and volume and balance to make your sound second to none. The display shows song titles, artists and more in your choice of 7 colors, so a glance tells you what's playing.
The 4-way fader, 4-channel RCA pre-outs and 2-channel RCA aux input make sure your fine-tuning isn't wasted. There are too many features to list here.
When the Upgrade Is Done

Suggested order for a classic Ford Fairlane
- Disconnect the vehicle battery before any wiring.
- Connect ground first, then constant (yellow) and ignition (red).
- Connect the antenna plug and the blue power-antenna lead if your car has a power antenna.
- Wire all four speakers, matching polarity.
- If using an amplifier, run RCA cables from the front/rear (and sub on USA-740/USA-850) pre-outs.
- Reconnect the battery and test radio, speakers, and charging system voltage.
Tech tips for classic Ford Fairlane
- This radio is sold for the factory Ford Fairlane opening used in classic models—do not cut a modern DIN rectangle if you want a stock look.
- A poor ground is the most common cause of whine or weak audio; scrape paint at the ground point and use a star washer.
- If AM reception is weak, check the antenna mast, cable continuity, and that the antenna plug is fully seated.
- Vintage Car Radio does not install radios. If you are not comfortable with 12V wiring, use a qualified installer.
