A retractable lap and shoulder belt is the most comfortable kind of seat belt to live with: it stays out of the way when unbuckled and adjusts itself as you move. This Seatbelt Planet 3-Point Retractable Push Button belt is sold for one seating position and works in the front or rear of most classic cars and trucks.
Retractor Length and Buckle
The web length and buckle menu offers six combinations:
- 110" retractor webbing with a 12" sleeve, 20" fixed buckle or 8" black sleeve
- 140" retractor webbing with a 12" sleeve, 20" fixed buckle or 8" black sleeve
Choose a sleeved buckle for bucket seats or the 20" fixed length for bench seats. Seatbelt Planet lists finished lengths of 152" and 160" for the 140" retractor (with the 12" sleeve and 20" fixed buckle) and 122" and 130" for the 110" retractor. The buckle side is measured from the center of the mounting hole to the end of the buckle, and all measurements have a tolerance of plus or minus 1 inch.
Shoulder Loop
The Shoulder Loop menu lets you choose a regular shoulder loop, an extended 8" black loop or no shoulder loop. The no-loop option is used in some two-seat vehicles where the retractor sits behind the occupant.

Mounting
Hardware Kit #1 is available for this belt. Seatbelt Planet's floor anchor points have a 0.510" hole that accepts a 7/16", 1/2" or 12mm bolt. Mount the retractor solidly, place the shoulder anchor behind and slightly above the occupant's shoulder and make sure the webbing runs straight without twisting.
Which Retractor Length?
The 140" retractor fits most vehicles and is the safer choice when the retractor is mounted low or far from the seat. The 110" version suits smaller cabins where the retractor sits close to the occupant. Measure the path from the retractor, over the shoulder and across the lap to the buckle before you order, or ask us for help.
