Product Description
AMC's Rambler was the sensible, well-built compact that helped American Motors compete with the big three, and today Ramblers have a loyal following. If your Rambler's original radio is tired or missing, this KHE-300-USB with Bluetooth by Ken Harrison gives it modern features while keeping a period-appropriate look.
Made for the Rambler
Our year/make/model search lists this version for the AMC Rambler. The KHE-300 is custom designed to fit the classic car's factory dashboard. Rambler dashes changed over the years, so contact us with your year and model before ordering to confirm fit.

Bluetooth streaming means you can play music from a phone without a cable, and the rear auxiliary inputs accept wired players. The 6 AM and 6 FM preset buttons are on the left side of the radio, and the PLL tuner with seek and auto scan makes it easy to find stations.
Sound Control
The 4-way fader and separate bass and treble knobs let you set the sound for your Rambler, and 200 watts of output (50 watts x 4) drives four speakers comfortably. At night, the blue LCD lights up the clock and frequency.
Options
- Front dual voice coil speaker, which plays both stereo channels through a single dash speaker
- Rear 6x9 speaker pair, Custom Autosound or upgraded Pioneer
- Hideaway antenna
Why Choose the KHE-300
A modern single-DIN stereo would mean cutting a Rambler's dash. The KHE-300 fits the factory location and looks like it belongs, while giving you the inputs you actually use today.
Before You Install
The KHE-300 requires 12-volt negative ground. Inspect the wiring, use a fused power source and make a solid ground. An auto radio specialist can install it if you prefer. Vintage Car Radio sells the radio and accessories but does not offer installation.
Bluetooth Pairing
Once your phone is paired, the KHE-300 can play its music wirelessly through the car's speakers, so there are no cables across the dash. If you prefer to leave the phone at home, load music onto a USB stick or SD card instead. It's a simple way to bring a large music library into an older car.
