Sometimes the best anchor point for a seat belt is just out of reach. A flat extension bracket moves the belt's mounting point where you need it without welding or drilling a new hole in an awkward spot. The Seatbelt Planet 6" Flat Bracket is a straight extension bracket made for exactly that job.

The 0.520" holes accept the 7/16", 1/2" or 12mm bolts commonly used for seat belt anchors.

Why Use a Bracket
Seat belts work best when the webbing runs in a straight line from the anchor to the occupant. If the factory hole is in the wrong spot for your seats, the belt can twist, rub or sit too low. A flat bracket bolts to the existing anchor and gives you a new mounting hole 6 inches away, so the belt lines up correctly.
