Product Description
This KHE-300-USB with Bluetooth by Ken Harrison is made for the 1964-65 Buick. It has separate bass and treble controls, a blue illuminated LCD that is easy to read at night and a front USB input.
Fit and Ordering
This version is made for the 1964-65 Buick, including the Electra. Buick used different dashes across its models, so contact us with your model before ordering to confirm fit.
What Makes It Different
Ken Harrison designed the KHE-300 to give classic cars modern sources while keeping a period look. The extended preset buttons work like an old pushbutton radio, and the blue-lit LCD shows the clock and frequency clearly.
Keeping the Dash Original
The dash is one of the first things people notice in a classic. A radio built to fit the factory opening keeps it looking right, protects the value of the car and avoids permanent changes, while still giving you the convenience of modern sources.

Kick Panels
This listing offers kick panels with speakers, without speakers or with a Pioneer upgrade, for front stereo speakers without cutting the doors.
Getting the Best Sound
Start with fresh speakers and good wiring. Old paper cones and corroded connections hold back even a great radio. Set the bass and treble modestly at first, then adjust for your cabin; open cars and trucks usually need a little more bass than closed coupes and sedans.
Before You Install
Like other modern radios, the KHE-300 runs on 12-volt negative ground. Contact us if your vehicle has a 6-volt or positive ground system.
Disconnect the battery before you start, check the old wiring behind the dash for brittle insulation and use a fused feed with a solid chassis ground. A qualified auto sound shop can handle the job if you prefer. Vintage Car Radio sells the radio and accessories but does not offer installation.
Using the Presets
The KHE-300's six AM and six FM presets sit on extended pushbuttons that are easy to find by feel. Tune to a station, then press and hold a button to store it. Seek and auto scan are there for times when you are traveling and don't know the local stations.

- Confirm the vehicle is 12 V negative ground before connecting (use a converter for 6 V or positive-ground cars).
- Disconnect a battery terminal before wiring.
- Use a fused power source and a clean chassis ground.
- Bench-test the radio before final mounting when practical.
- Connect the antenna lead and the auto-antenna power wire only if your antenna is compatible.
- Match speaker polarity; do not short speaker leads to ground.
