Product Description
Custom Autosound is always working toward the perfect classic car radio, and the USA-630 for the 1957-58 Buick Special is the result. Its signature knobs add to its look and to the appeal of your dash. The radio blends classic looks with modern features, including an iPod dock. You can use the radio's controls to browse artists, playlists, albums and songs on your iPod.
That means you can keep your iPod tucked away in the glove box. You can also play WMA and MP3 files by plugging a USB flash drive into the USB port. The alphanumeric display shows the artist, song and album title when you play music from a flash drive or iPod, plus RDS station information.
With the optional BluKit, you can stream audio from a Bluetooth smartphone or player, and use the radio's track-up button to skip songs on your device. When a call comes in, the music mutes so you can take the call hands-free. The USA-630 has 300 watts peak, enough to fill your car at full volume.

Suggested order for a 1957-1958 Buick Special
- Disconnect the vehicle battery before any wiring.
- Connect ground first, then constant (yellow) and ignition (red).
- Connect the antenna plug and the blue power-antenna lead if your car has a power antenna.
- Wire all four speakers, matching polarity.
- If using an amplifier, run RCA cables from the front/rear (and sub on USA-740/USA-850) pre-outs.
- Reconnect the battery and test radio, speakers, and charging system voltage.
Tech tips for 1957-1958 Buick Special
- This radio is sold for the factory Buick Special opening used in 1957-1958 models—do not cut a modern DIN rectangle if you want a stock look.
- A poor ground is the most common cause of whine or weak audio; scrape paint at the ground point and use a star washer.
- If AM reception is weak, check the antenna mast, cable continuity, and that the antenna plug is fully seated.
- Vintage Car Radio does not install radios. If you are not comfortable with 12V wiring, use a qualified installer.
