Product Description
For the Classic 1970-76 Firebird
The Firebird is one of the best muscle cars around. It has the looks, the style and the power, so it deserves one of the best radios available.
The USA-630 is that radio. It stands out for sound quality and makes your classic 1970-76 Firebird sing. When you have one of the best cars around, you want one of the best radios in it.
Why the Custom Autosound USA-630 Is the Best
One reason is that it's made to install easily in your 1970-76 Firebird. Another is its 300 watts of peak power. Those alone make the USA-630 one of the top radios around.
Then you have many ways to play your favorite music: CDs through an optional changer, WMA and MP3 files, your iPod and 16 radio presets (12 FM, 4 AM). That versatility is second to none.
On top of that, volume, bass, treble and balance controls let you fine-tune the sound to your taste, and the digital EQ helps you perfect it.
You also get an RDS tuner and a power antenna lead to help your stations come in loud and clear. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
The Reasons Are Clear
They show why the Custom Autosound USA-630 is the best radio for your 1970-76 Firebird. It has the features, the power and the style, and that's before we even talk about your Firebird.
Get the best, so your Firebird stands out from all the others.
The USA-630 is the latest step in Custom Autosound's quest for the perfect classic car radio. Its large OEM-style push buttons look right at home in a classic dash, but behind them are modern features like an iPod dock. You can browse your iPod by artist, song, album or playlist from the radio's buttons, so the iPod can stay hidden in the glove box or console. A USB input on the back plays MP3/WMA files from a flash drive, and the alphanumeric display shows song, artist and album titles from USB, iPod and RDS radio stations. With the optional BluKit, you can stream music from a Bluetooth phone or player, skip tracks with the radio's track-up button, and take hands-free calls while the music mutes automatically. At 300 watts peak, it has all the power most people need. If you want more, four pre-out jacks on the back connect optional amplifiers, and an auxiliary input accepts satellite radio or any portable player.

- Connect the antenna plug and the blue power-antenna lead if your car has a power antenna.

Tech tips for 1970-76 Firebird
- This radio is sold for the factory Firebird opening used in 1970-76 models—do not cut a modern DIN rectangle if you want a stock look.
- A poor ground is the most common cause of whine or weak audio; scrape paint at the ground point and use a star washer.
- If AM reception is weak, check the antenna mast, cable continuity, and that the antenna plug is fully seated.
- Vintage Car Radio does not install radios. If you are not comfortable with 12V wiring, use a qualified installer.
