Product Description
What's better than the Custom Autosound USA-230? The USA-630, of course.
If you're looking for the best radio for your 1953-54 Oldsmobile, look no further than the USA-630. It has more bells and whistles than the USA-230 and is one of the best classic car radios you'll find.
The Bells and Whistles
One look at the features should convince you it's a superior radio. It starts with 300 watts, more than enough power for the sound you want.
A power antenna lead and RDS electronic tuner bring in your 16 presets (12 FM, 4 AM). When you want a change, play your CDs through the direct CD changer control, or turn to WMA and MP3 files or your iPod.
That's not all. You also get a 4-way fader, 4-channel RCA pre-outs, 2-channel RCA inputs and volume, balance, bass and treble controls, topped off by a digital EQ for fine-tuning.
The LCD display shows song and artist names in white letters on a black background.
And there's a built-in digital clock to keep you on time.
A Top Radio
Hear the Custom Autosound USA-630 for yourself and you'll be convinced: there's no better radio for your 1953-54 Oldsmobile. It has all the bells and whistles you want, and then some.
The USA-630 is the latest step in Custom Autosound's quest for the perfect classic car radio. Its large OEM-style push buttons look right at home in a classic dash, but behind them are modern features like an iPod dock. You can browse your iPod by artist, song, album or playlist from the radio's buttons, so the iPod can stay hidden in the glove box or console. A USB input on the back plays MP3/WMA files from a flash drive, and the alphanumeric display shows song, artist and album titles from USB, iPod and RDS radio stations. With the optional BluKit, you can stream music from a Bluetooth phone or player, skip tracks with the radio's track-up button, and take hands-free calls while the music mutes automatically. At 300 watts peak, it has all the power most people need. If you want more, four pre-out jacks on the back connect optional amplifiers, and an auxiliary input accepts satellite radio or any portable player.

Tech tips for 1953-1954 Oldsmobile
- This radio is sold for the factory Oldsmobile opening used in 1953-1954 models—do not cut a modern DIN rectangle if you want a stock look.
- A poor ground is the most common cause of whine or weak audio; scrape paint at the ground point and use a star washer.
- If AM reception is weak, check the antenna mast, cable continuity, and that the antenna plug is fully seated.
- Vintage Car Radio does not install radios. If you are not comfortable with 12V wiring, use a qualified installer.
