Product Description
This radio gives your Buick Roadmaster great sound and modern technology while keeping the dash looking classic. It installs without any dash modifications, unlike many radios that leave the dash looking butchered. The USA-630 is the result of three decades of Custom Autosound's work toward the ideal classic car radio, and its OEM-style push buttons complete the original look. A USB cable on the back of the radio plays MP3/WMA files and is long enough to tuck into the ashtray or glove box for easy access. There's also an iPod dock. The alphanumeric display is 30% larger than on earlier models and shows the song, artist and album. You get AM/FM, an auxiliary input for satellite radio, and Bluetooth streaming with hands-free calling through the optional BluKit. With 300 watts of power, RCA pre-outs for optional amplifiers and built-in CD changer control, it has all the power and flexibility you need. It's a perfect fit for the 1954-56 Buick Roadmaster, and we keep this model in stock.
The USA-630 keeps the retro look intact, and its large OEM-style push buttons add to your Roadmaster's interior. It supports iPod navigation, plays WMA/MP3 files, and streams music from Bluetooth devices with the optional BluKit. When a call comes in, the music mutes automatically for hands-free talking. Suggested order for a 1954-1956 Buick Roadmaster

- Connect the antenna plug and the blue power-antenna lead if your car has a power antenna.
- Wire all four speakers, matching polarity.
- If using an amplifier, run RCA cables from the front/rear (and sub on USA-740/USA-850) pre-outs.
- Reconnect the battery and test radio, speakers, and charging system voltage.
Tech tips for 1954-1956 Buick Roadmaster
- This radio is sold for the factory Buick Roadmaster opening used in 1954-1956 models—do not cut a modern DIN rectangle if you want a stock look.
- A poor ground is the most common cause of whine or weak audio; scrape paint at the ground point and use a star washer.
- If AM reception is weak, check the antenna mast, cable continuity, and that the antenna plug is fully seated.
- Vintage Car Radio does not install radios. If you are not comfortable with 12V wiring, use a qualified installer.
