Studebaker

One of the great manufacturers of the 20th Century was the Studebaker Company. Studebaker was one of the few builders that was able to survive the transition from the horse and buggy to the automobile and that tells you Studebaker was around a very long time. Early on Studebaker built some of the most dependable vehicles on the road. They set distance and endurance records everywhere and gained a very loyal customer base. They had great names too like the Commander and the Champion and the cars lived up to those names. Studebaker was innovative with engine design and styling. The 1953 Studebaker is still considered one of the most beautiful looking cars ever. It was just stunning and was very modern for its time. Also it didn't look like all the other cars on the road and that of course made it stand out even more. Its slippery design made it perfect for the land speed guys and you still see them on the salt and dirt today. Now even though the Studebaker Company was technologically great and its styling outstanding it still had its shortcomings, namely the sound system. Of course some of the cars only had a six volt system which didn't help but even when they went to the now standard twelve volt system the radios still lacked a lot. So what if you have a classic Studebaker but don't know what to do about your radio? You get over to Vintage Car Radio and checkout their entire line of radios for your Studebaker.
