    The Ford Thunderbird is one of the most iconic vehicles ever built. When people think of the American car they picture the Ford Thunderbird. The Thunderbird was the perfect combination of hot rod and custom car. You had the big V8 with the roadster feel and the fins, oh the fins. The fins were the perfect length and height. The look was just aces. The general feel and the way it rode was just outstanding. There was nothing else on the market that could match it other than the Corvette and the Corvette just screamed sports car instead of hot rod.
