Every auto manufacturer has every size car. From the big to the little to the in between. Making a small car go fast is pretty easy. Stick a big engine in it and have some fun. Less weight makes it easier to move but what about the big cars? It takes a whole bunch of power to make a big car go. So when Ford decided to try and make the bigger than life Galaxie run, they had their work cut out for them. When you have four thousand pounds to try and haul down the track you need the biggest engines you can make. Ford's big V8's were just the right type to get the Galaxie moving down the road. The Galaxie was a fierce competitor at the drags and on the ovals. It dominated Nascar and won track championships all across the nation. When they really wanted to fast they gave the Galaxie a weight reduction by using aluminum parts that helped them beat even the smallest cars. The Galaxie also ran wild on the street. They did everything well. Now even though the Galaxie was an amazing car it, like most classic cars and trucks, had its downfalls. The mileage was terrible and upkeep wasn't the easiest but the big problem was the stock radio. The stock radio lacked in power and reception. Not to mention, now its not compatible at all with modern accessories. So what can you do? You get over to Vintage Car Radio and take a look at the Ken Harrison radios. Ken Harrison radios are some of the best in the business. They are built with the highest quality parts which ensures a long life out of your radio. Not to mention the sound is just amazing. So get over to Vintage Car Radio and get yourself a Ken Harrison radio.
